Tried to get the early session, but all the forecasts got it wrong and the big winds blew themselves out overnight. Gutted cos it was shaping up to be a classic with big wind swell. The wind filled in after high tide and I sailed at lancing in slightly offshore conditions, waves were small (2-3 foot) but nicely formed. Wind shadow on the inside, but nice just to have a bit of down the line on well formed waves. More wind and waves would have made the day.
